Now it is the pink astilbe's turn...

Dear Diary,

I was able to make this photograph just before the rain started. Now it is pouring but the garden needs a good drink of water just now. The grass needs cutting, desperately, but it will just have to wait.

The white astilbe are past, now it is the pink ones time to shine. I'm glad the blue cat mint was still blooming, it makes such a lovely combination especially as so much of the garden is yellow and orange now.

The greatest gift of the garden is the restoration of the five senses. ~Hanna Rion
