Away for a while

The first summer trip to the Alps beckons; the van is packed, tunnel booked, plans made.
The last few years I've gone for six to eight weeks at a time - but I can admit I get homesick when I'm away that long - so this time I'm trying more shorter trips - hopefully by next year we'll have sorted an apartment and it will all be easier to manage, for now it's the thousand mile drive.
Still I'm excited - first time getting paid for guiding in the Alps - showing people a route that is justifiably world famous - and also happens to be one of the things that kicked off my whole change of life - the Tour du Mont Blanc.
I'm hoping to be able to pick up wifi every so often in bars & hotels that we pass by - but Blips could be few and far between for the next two weeks - I promise I'll catch up with some stunners when I'm back.
