I love you.

Had lunch with my wife today at Hachi Hachi, a wonderful Japanese restaurant a few doors down from where I work. Harper destroyed a rice ball. It was so nice to see him. I really miss him during the day. If I get a day off I spend it with him. He's so precious and perfect. I kinda wish he was awake right now so I could cuddle him and kiss his wee face.

A few of the Crusaders came in to eat at the table across from ours. I recognised Richie McCaw, Dominic Bird, Ryan Crotty, Corey Flynn, Israel Dagg, George Whitelock, and a few others I didn't quite see - maybe Kieran Read, Jimmy Tupou and Nepo Laulala. I tried to take a photo but Emma told me not I should give them a break from "the paparazzi". I'm sure it wouldn't have made a difference but after 5 years of marriage you learn not to argue over little things. ☺
