Desert tonight!

Paladian was on a mission to make Seville Orange marmalade today, and had a couple of fruit left over.

So she made this orange and almond cake, which looks fairly ordinary, but smells absolutely amazing. We are celebrating a delayed Bastille Day tonight, so you can guess what we are having for desert tonight!

The wine is a French Sauvignon Blanc, “Parnasse”. Starting with filet mignon, fondant potatoes and broccoli. Plus two French cheeses. Can’t wait.
