Freedom

Today I attended the Open Day at Yeldall Manor. Yeldall Manor is a drug and alcohol rehab centre in Berkshire, run on a Christian ethos. Besides being a beautiful property, it is very dear to my heart because my parents set up this centre in the 1970s. We lived on site for about 3 years when I was in my late teens and I LOVED living there!

My parents have both passed away now but they would be pleased that so many lives continue to be transformed. My dad especially - he died when Yeldall was still in the early stages as a rehab centre and although he saw the work established, he never got to see what a fantastic well-run place it has evolved into today. I'm privileged to be a Trustee, although I wish my crazy life gave me more time to be a bit more involved!
