Mr Tui

There is a resident Tui here at Dads who is quite territorial and seems to be keeping the area all for him/herself. Dad has built a great bird feeder for him with a bottle of honey water and areas for fruit etc. The Tui drinks a full bottle of the water a day! I have spent a lot of time today trying to get a good shot of him feeding at the box... It was a bit like a cat and mouse game as I am sure Mr Tui was watching me watching him and as soon as my back was turned he would swoop down and have a drink! I have a few more days here yet.....
