My wife and I decided a few years ago to suspend the giving of traditional birthday gifts in lieu of birthday memories.

Today we surprised our oldest granddaughter with a trip to the Crayola Factory in Easton, PA.

The experiences have verified our thoughts as the surprise trips have been wonderfully received ...and more importantly memorable.
