Went for my monday training walk, then back home for rest and listened to Mr S ruin the peace and quiet of summer with his angle grinder and welder. Managed to time the washing machine just as he finished, so it could go out on the line without incurring hot metal burn holes.

Picked the girls up from school, took them for a haircut, back home for dinner then swimming. Then off they go to bed and 10 minutes later Little Miss S os downstairs crying as she's not done her homework that she never told me about! So a quick bit of googling and printed needed and she was happy to go back to bed again. I didn't get much done this evening, too busy thinking about family and trying not to stress too much. A visit to the school is needed as they are failing my eldest child and her education. That's what happens when a teacher leaves and is not replaced until the new school year, nobody has taken responsibility to make sure my girl got the help she needed. There is an open evening tomorrow night; I will be the first one there and I need to know how she slipped through the cracks ... again.
