History is made…….

today the General Synod of the Church of England voted to allow women to be appointed Bishops. It is 20 years since the first women were priested and finally after years of debate and discussion the motion has been passed.
Now we await the announcement of the first consecration of a woman as Bishop - perhaps 2015?
