Still fruitful in old age

An entry to Monomonday: trees challenge. This old apple tree (A Gravensteiny sort) is all hollow inside, but still bears a lot of apples; enough for us, for the deer, and to give away. I need to learn grafting before it collapses, to carry on the heirloom deliscousness. Thank you Gingernan for hosting!
