Useful Day Off

Joshua woke me at 0640, twenty minutes before my alarm went off to remind me to do his packed lunch.
I had made a list the previous evening of what I needed to get done by 1400.
After dropping Joshua at school I waded through and cleared 370 e-mails, paid some bills, jet washed the patio and BBQ, cleared the lounge and dining room tables and completed some personal admin.
I arrived at Killiow Golf Club in time for a coffee and sixty balls on the Driving Range. As a threesome we teed off at 1430 and arrived back in the clubhouse at 1800. A really great afternoon, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed golf.
Home via McD's, Sam ate in Josh had a takeaway, I dropped him at his shooting club, went shopping and arrived home to make myself an omelette before slumping in the chair for News At Ten.
Back to work tomorrow for a rest!!
