Marwick
Around Birsay again today. Nothing unusual bird-wise but nice to see young moorhen, swallows, coot, mallard, ringed plover, eider, kittiwakes and guillemot. Quite a few arctic terns carrying food from the sea to chicks somewhere on the reserve. Quite a few people around Marwick Head today. A fair number of puffins too. At Birsay palace I saw a young whinchat- a species not too common here.
More shots here.
