Legends...
The Queen's Commonwealth Baton visited Inverclyde today. My best chum, Greenock Morton legend Warren Hawke, carried it past the very place we first met and became firm friends. It was a special moment.
These special moments have been taking place the length and breadth of the Commonwealth for the last year as legends in their own right have helped the baton on its way.
Warren told me he was humbled by his fellow baton bearers - an athlete who had participated in the Special Olympics and an 80 year old runner, who only gave up racing 4 years ago.
What an incredible journey the baton has undertaken. If only it could talk - the stories it would be able to tell.
And I held it! It's exquisite.
Today outof10? An inspiring 9.5 ❤️
