Trying to avoid the horse scarer!

Farmer has put a bird scarer right next to the field entrance and one half way around the edge. We got stuck between the two without realising and decided to take a shortcut and gallop for home as quick as possible. Although I'm writing light heartedly it's actually really dangerous as it's at head height on the field above the road and if I happen to be riding by on the road when it goes by and a car or lorry is passing at the same time we're dead. Going to speak to farmer tomorrow.
