We gotta get out of this place

Went up to New Pitsligo today ( where is Old Pitsligo by the way?) and as well as visiting the family, we were in a house that the designer Bill Gibb grew up in. We saw shelves where his drawings and paintings used to be situated.
We went to find the Last Bus Works Canteen, which is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant. It was closed, we missed it by about half an hour.
We drove back via Strichen, New Deer, Maud, Old Deer and Auchnagatt.
This window is an old window in an old house, now an old pipe store-room, in New Deer. The inside, as you can see has plant life in it too.
It raises the question, is the foliage trying to get in or trying to get out?
