On Watch

As the cool of the evening came on we moved outside and sat talking of the day's events and making plans for the future ones.

The little beagle isn't used to being outside in the dark and she stayed close to us just in case a marauding grizzly bear jumped the fence and came after us.
You can see how alert her ears are but you can also see that her haunches are firmly planted in Missy Ann's lap.
