The Little Things

Went to Avoca earlier lunch, could nearly have been today's blip!

Anyway, I'm fond of my scones and knowing Avoca bake absolute boulders of scones I asked the cheery attendant a large fruit scone.

Some moments later he came back with two (normal sized) scones, saying that they were a bit small today and to not point this unsolicited & unexpected favoritism out to his boss! Love it!

Anyway, so this blip is of Elaine and myself resting in Iveagh Gardens, Dublin, before Little Green Cars play later on.

We, like all the groupies, queued at the door and were one of the first people in. Not actually quite sure why we didn't just spend an extra hour or two in and around town, but I guess we were easy and found ourselves a good perch, and down.

Met Therese and her new BF Eoin later in the night, and although I promised myself I would 'take it handy', as I was flying to France at 6:50 the following morning, I found myself nearly running out of cash having made so many return trips to the bar!

(I'm now in France, so everything worked out!)
