Tierra Caliente

Up early to get a bus to the tropical countryside and a town called Mariquita. The bus trip was handled brilliantly by the little lady (the other kids not so well who were sick due to the twisty turny roads, awww). Things warmed up slowly and by the time we arrived it was pretty sweaty. The town is lovely, very relaxed and colourful wth lots of trees and flowers.

We are sharing a house with lots of people, who made us welcome wth a great lunch of local fish. We then went for a walk and had coconut icecream.
