Somebody's Watching You

We stayed up to watch the celebrations and I really liked this image.

Of course the downside to all this happiness and celebrating was that I had to get up at 6. I got into the office for the my first day of being solely responsible for some software.

What could possibly go wrong I wondered?

"Everything" was the answer.

It was non-stop - I've never heard the telephone ring so often. Sometimes 2 people rang at the same time. It was unbelievable. And the amazing thing was, every reported problem had nothing to do with us. The fault lay elsewhere but people do like phoning us...

I left at 4:30 - 9 and a half hours of that nonsense is enough for one day.

And I've got 5 weeks of being on my tod to look forward to. I've already had to cancel a training course that I was supposed to go to. And I think my German lesson will go the same way.
