Ukkosmaine live at Joensuu market square

After my friend Antti and his brother had arrived to my flat on Friday, we went shopping for the weekend in supermarket. After that we headed downtown for some pizza, brew and coffee. We also changed the Ilosaarirock festival and Friday's pre-event tickets for entrance bracelets at the market square. In addition to Ilosaarirock and Ilovaarirock festivals there were a lot of free gigs and events around Joensuu from Tuesday to Saturday as a part of Popkatu event. One such performer were the synth pop duo Ukkosmaine who performed at the market square. We checked out the end of their gig. They got a good and enthustiastic crowd. Later we went to the the "Sulo club", one of the pre-events for Ilosaarirock held in a part of Saturday's and Sunday's festival area. We had a good time even though we didn't follow the acts too closely.
