Stonehenge

Today we visited Stonehenge for a day trip and to get out of the house for a bit. It was a gorgeous day, sunny, but not too hot. They have the new visitors centre which is excellent now, plenty to do at the centre itself, coffee shop, gift shop and the new exhibition. We booked tickets and took the shuttle bus to the site where we walked around the stones for nearly an hour. The audio guide was excellent too. Had a great day with plenty of photographs taken! Today would have been Dad's birthday too. He would have loved visited Stonehenge and having a curry at night! Glad we visited for Mum and for Dad.
