Reflections

Yesterday turned itself around and became a good day after its bad start.
His Lordship decided to put on the supportive husband act and accompany me to the showing of the bliptogether screening. The Inspace was the perfect venue for the loop of bliptogetherness and it was fascinating to watch all the faces go by, some I knew from my subscriptions and some I didn't, but all looking lovely stretched along the wall. I only wish I had thought to see them from the street, but we approached from the south and so missed them.
I would have stayed longer meeting blippers, but his Lordship was anxious not to be late for our meal reservation at our local eaterie. However I did meet several blippers whom I knew already and met others that enabled me to put faces to names. Fascinating!

Our meal afterwards was also a success and so the day ended 100% better than it began.

This morning saw us heading for Leith and Tiso's mountaineering store in order to buy antibacterial hand gel and water purification tablets for out forthcoming camping trip to Egypt's Western Desert. David77 has put the fear of death into me after hearing about his attack of the trots early on in his life in Egypt. I can't imagine anything worse than being so afflicted while travelling in a 4 wheel drive through the desert with several strangers and a spade for company. So chlorine tablets and a large supply of anti -diarrhoea pills will accompany us.

Leith proved to be a gold mine of possible blips but the one I have chosen is of buildings overlooking the wharf perfectly reflected in the calm water.
