Orquidias
I took the students to the orchid garden today run by the University of Cuenca. Full of gorgeous flowers, seducers of the floral world.
....and then in the afternoon we wandered the museum gazing on the paintings of Oswaldo Guayasmin, Ecuador´s most famous artist. A tribute to humanity that was both beautiful and terrible, human. Finishing the day under the afternoon light waning in the gardens of pumapungo gathered in the grass together with Catherine.
A most excellent day, and it was so hard to pick just one blip I had to do a collage. Orchid diversity run rampant and beuty and incarnate. My favorite is the monkey face. Can you tell which one it is? The hummingbird orchid and bulls horns are pretty neat too :)
