MonoMonday:Trees

This is my contribution to MonoMonday:Trees, kindly hosted by GingerNan.
In anticipation of another cold day I thought I was very clever when it occurred to me to blip my bonsai.

It is a Port Jackson Fig. They can grow up to 30 m (98 ft) in height under normal conditions. Mine is about 18 cm. I can't remember quite how long I've had it, but it must be at least 10 years. It was given to me by a Japanese student and I am amazed I have managed to keep it alive this long. One advantage is, if I go away it is not hard to have it babysat.
