I Do ♥️ San Francisco

This is City Hall. The dome shines through from so many different vistas downtown. Across the street from City Hall, but not visible from this vantage point are the War Memorial Opera House where we just saw a terrific production of La Traviata, and Davies Symphony Hall. Behind us are the Asian Art Museum and the public library, where we spent most of yesterday. And today, here in Civic Center Plaza, special for the final soccer match, is a free simulcast so fans can enjoy the match outdoors on this spectacular day. There are food trucks, but not a lot of commercial hoopla, just a fairly mellow coming together of eager enthusiasts. I should footnote that I am the only person in the world who does not know who played today, much less who won. What I am taken with is the diverse scope of activities available within a three block area. On Sundays there is also a Farmers' Market in the adjacent plaza. I am so grateful that we live close enough to take advantage of all this bounty.
