Mono Monday - Trees...Cabbage Tree

I have a love/hate relationship with our native cabbage trees.

Their shape and form is stunning, with the multi branching limbs and spikey leaves and there beautiful white flower heads in the early summer.

...but they drop their leaves everywhere, and get caught up in the motor mower and you are forever picking them up.

Out in the open on a farm is the best place for them, this one is on a near by property....I got my one cut down!
