The Breakfast Club

The moon over Homepatrick....The day started well....and improved at the Strawberry Fair, a fundraiser for a local scout group....where I felt it good form to try strawberries and fresh cream...and the day got even better at the estuary where I went to visit the swans...

For twenty years a few of the lads I worked with met on the last Friday of the month before work when we breakfasted and sorted out all the ills of the world. We still meet regularly even though all are retired now which is exceptionally good for a group of men I imagine... Donal, Joe, Mick, Paul, Gerry and myself.....

I got a message at 16:26 "......., Paul passed this afternoon...." and I am heart broken and devastated... Was looking forward to the World Cup final but couldn't watch it..Went to the beach and watched the sun go down on Paul's last day...then I watched the moon rise over the sea and was reminded we only have once chance on this earth...Make the most of it...Never be afraid to show love......just saying
