MINE ALL MINE!

This little squirrel is letting me know that he has staked a claim on these sunflower seeds. Now that a couple of them have made me happy by taking peanuts from my hand, they seem to think I’ll let them get away with whatever they want. With all the rain this spring and summer, everything has grown by leaps and bounds – including the branch above this feeder. Last year the branch was too small for the squirrels to make the leap to the feeder, but this year is a different story!
