We are a bit obsessed with den making at the minute! This is our best one yet. I even let them put the sheepskin rug in for extra cosiness...

I got up with the munchkins this morning and did our meal plan and online shop for Monday. When Chris got up I made us pancakes for breakfast which we ate with a massive plate of fruit. Perfect Saturday breakfast! We got dressed and went out to play in the garden, it was a lovely day after a rainy week. Amelie and I painted sticks that we collected on Friday, they look amazing! Amelie declared them "brill". We also had an unexpected fly past from a Lancaster bomber and a spitfire, they flew over us very low and went round a couple of times. Very exciting!

Before dinner I went out for a quick run (4k today) but the humidity was awful. Chris left when I got back to go and pick up John at Luton airport - he had cycled up from London to see us.

We had bbq pulled pork, BBQ chicken, wraps, coleslaw and corn on the cob...very tasty.

I also trimmed Amelie's fringe today, thankfully I didn't make too bad a job!
