Raindrops

So early night last night not really beneficial...thunderstorm closely followed by powercut. Lots of rumbling thunder and flashes of lightening then followed for ages.

Power almost came back on several times in the night resulting in my phone buzzing (I'd plugged it in to charge up) and my clock radio flashing. Was woken at 4am by sounds of an argument - turns out to be the telly, hubby hadn't been able to switch off before the power cut.

Further rain lashing against the window.

Finally woke up this morning feeling exhausted and to the gentle pitter patter of raindrops on the conservatory roof.

Daughter and grandson popped over and we went out for lunch, and we drove through more storms.

Finally eased off late afternoon, and I feel throughly washed out!
