Egeskov Castle

We had a fun day visiting a Danish castle.

The castle looked fabulous, the grounds were stunning and there was something for everybody. Semi-quaver and I did a tree top walk, got lost in a maze (even although Mr Q was certain he knew the way!), had a delicious lunch, saw an amazing dolls' house which was on display in the castle and generally had a great time.

We also received a diploma for our courage and abilities as knights on Segways! Had I known that we had to dress up as knights and be knighted before I'd paid, I would have thought twice about it!! It was good fun though. There was even an amazing display of classic cars, aeroplanes and motorbikes to keep Mr Q happy.

We then travelled over a couple of exceedingly long bridges on to Zealand and are staying close to Copenhagen tonight.
