Goofy Good Time

Friday was a "be responsible and get things down around the house" morning. We made a list....and started checking it off. Sugar did a great job in her room getting it ready for our overnight guest. Grandma!

We pulled out the little black baby bunnies, and were distressed to note that they are not getting any friendly. The fight us....and scream when we try to hold them. We have never had this happen. It could be the breed of their dad....maybe just more skittish than the other breeds we usually have.

After lunch we went to the pool and met up with some friends. The weather was overcast, and a bit chilly for those of us not in the water. I hear the water was warm, and the kids definitely didn't seem to mind. HERE'S a fun shot of Sugar blasting out of the water. I love to try to capture the water pouring off of her.

When we arrived home from the pool, my mom had arrived. Sugar was excited. She couldn't wait to show her all the new things around our house since she last visited.

In the evening, we headed out to see a show to celebrate my mom's birthday. This is the third year in a row that we have gone to the summer melodrama that a local town puts on. It is so cheesy, and fun! We get to sit there, eat free popcorn, and boo and hiss the villains! We whoop and holler....and laugh a lot. I got this shot of some of the singers and dancers playing with an audience member. He was a real sport.

We got home late....but it was worth it.
