Queens Baton comes to town
A morning of anticipation as we were expecting the Queens Baton to pass through our town at 11:45am. It was nice to find out that even something that has been all around the world can fall victim to "the Mid-Argyll Effect" and get caught up in the time vortex that seems to exist here.
The Baton finally appeared after a slightly delayed journey down from Oban via the Crinan Canal and it was coming up to 1:30 when it arrived here.
It was worth the wait though and it was a special moment to see it being carried past our house :-)
