Where there's smoke there's the Red Arrows!

Thanks to everyone for helping to put my Flamingo photo in to the spotlight.

Went to The Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford with Aliscotia today. It was our first time and we were very impressed. Lots to do and see. It was the first time I had used the Nikon D800 for something that moved so quickly. Overall I got some good results but I certainly struggled to get the sharpness I was after - many were just a bit too soft when zooming in.

This shot I liked because it is not quite the standard Red Arrows photo and the dark skies and the smoke trails make for a little more drama.
