Typhoon

I took over 300 shots today at the Royal Airforce Tattoo, Fairford. I have hummed and hawed about which one to blip, the Red Arrows, the Apache, the Swiss version of the Arrows, the Lancaster, so many choices but I have gone for this one of the Typhoon. It was climbing rapidy, this is taken with my lens at 300mm and this crop is one fifteenth of the original image but it is sharp...you can even read the word Typhoon on the tail and the burners look great. It's my favourite from the day.

Thank you so much for putting yesterday's Tawny Frogmouth in the Spotlight, I was over the moon, and Longshadow's flamingo is still there! I'm not sure what he will blip from the airshow.....I'm looking over at him working on the computer now and there are a few to choose from!
