Banded Demoiselle

The Henleaze bathing lake in an old quarry was open for a long swim today for the anglers were restricted to the far end. It only happens twice a year but the anglers weren't a happy bunch! A fine time was had by all who managed to round the far buoy and return again and again, clocking up some considerable distances. Better enlarged so you can see the hairy legs!
