my crash landing
This is the photo I took right before I tripped, fell down, and dropped my camera. The photo was taken at a shutter speed of 1/15 of a second instead of 1/500 of a second because I didn't have time to make the change before the geese took off. Right before their flight I was taking photos of the water with my camera set to shutter priority and set at 1/15 of a second which I like for photos of water. When I have attempted to take photos of birds in flight I have set the camera to 1/500 of a second. That's enough about this oh so blurry photo...
From the fall I hurt one of my knees and scraped the palms of my hands (and broke some skin). Fortunately my knee and hands are feeling better.
My camera lens, though, appears to have broken. I've started researching online about the error message. I have two other lenses, but the one that appears to be broken is my zoom lens : (
Tomorrow I start a new full-time job and starting to feel a bit anxious (could be a reason why I wasn't paying attention and fell).
