Pullin' a Hoover

I observed this guy walking down the sidewalk with his sweeper as if it were the most ordinary occurrence anyone could imagine. As it rattled and banged along over the small cracks and pebbles on the pavement I couldn't help but wonder why he just didn't pick it up and carry it.
