The Hobb Nobbs

Today was our annual barbecue at my wife's place of work, Hobb's Court. The court is a sheltered housing scheme of flats and bungalows for the elderly. Everything started off well and I was so confident that I took a group photo as the food was cooking. We managed to dish out about a dozen meals before the Heavens opened. Everyone got soaked and we decided to carry on indoors. I had a big umbrella so I finished cooking the chicken, burgers, sausages and kebabs under the liquid sunshine. Of course, the sun came out afterwards. It gave me an excuse to do my Gene Kelly impressions and I think everyone still had a good time.
