It's amazing who you meet in the Royal Mile

It's my birthday tomorrow (all the sixes) and daughter, #2 son and his wife are coming for a meal this evening then we'll all watch the World Cup final. It will be a great evening. #1 son, his wife and our grandson are in Tbilisi in Georgia at a wedding and on holiday. This afternoon we went in to the centre of Edinburgh, wanting to enjoy the increasing sense of buzz which tourists are bringing to the city. The sun was shining and there were plenty of interesting people about.
