Catherine Palace

Day 2 in St Petersburg (Russia) – up very early to spend the whole day visiting the Peterhof Palace and the Catherine Palace. First stop was Catherine Palace - Blip is of Catherine Palace from the entrance gate. After visiting some of the rooms in the Palace we had lunch in what was the Palace kitchens located near the entrance gate. After lunch a short drive to Peterhof Palace, a walk around the grounds seeing the various fountain features and then a tour of the rooms of the palace. Tonight we sail for Helsinki.
