Nice start to the holiday

After yesterday exertions, we were expected at Madame's cousin's house for a brunch of sorts. I haven't seen two of the cousins for 16 years and as people had travelled from various corners of France for this family reunion, there was an air of expectation.

We were not disappointed, an amazing start to the holiday in one of the nicest surroundings I have seen. The children entertained themselves in the pool, there was a table and cooking going on outside, in between major showers, the garden has its own lake, we laughed with cousins as old memories were recounted, we ate we drank we were merry.

A wonderful day.
