Loganberries

I always moaned about the lateness of blackberries coming into season but I had last year been given these. I really did think they were overgrown blackberries and only yesterday did I find out they were not. Cross between a blackberry and a raspberry they are delicious and are great in a smoothie with strawberries and banana's as I discovered last night.

In regards to food miles these can be measured in yards. Field to my car no more than fifty.

Now where are the bramley apples and shortcrust pastry for my favourite pie.
