Day 9: Beijing

This was a lovely but sweltering day, free from the usual air pollution. This group was one amongst several which took advantage of the clear day for wedding photos here, at Tiantan (the Temple of Heaven). The intricate Chinese architecture also looks a lot more magnificent in sunlight, which is a pity since Beijing is so often smothered in smog.
