New crop potatoes

The good part of the day came last: the supper. Triinu served among other things new crop potatoes. The dessert was ice cream with strawberries.

But until then it wasn't too great. One cow had hurt herself the previous evening and we needed the vet again. That was sixth time in eight days, which is probably as much as previous six months!

The day was cloudy and there were raindrops in the air in the afternoon though it didn't really rain. The forecast didn't look too good either, so we baled most of the hay batch. It wasn't dry enough to store in the neighbour's barn. We had to bring most of it to our drier which meant more work for us than expected.
