How can these beautiful objects be attached to something so ugly?

I had a 121 meeting with big boss today. I was no wiser about why she wanted to see me at the end of the meeting than at the beginning. Isn't that often the way? I won a few points and lost a few. Let's call it a draw. Unlike the poor Brazilians.... 7:1?! Oh dear. I got lots of commentary on Whatsap from my pals in all different counties while I was on the train. I made it home for the second half not was difficult to watch the home nation being so thoroughly beaten. I feel quite sorry for them.
