A touch of liquorice

Following yesterday's heat wave, today was cool, damp and very misty and the dogs got soaked very quickly as they scampered through the long grassland. During the walk I spotted this slug high up on the grasses, insinuating his body around a grass stem. In the dampness his body shone like liquorice.
