Day in town

Living so close to London it's good to have the odd day out in this wonderful city. Today we caught the train to London Bridge and wandered round Borough Market having lunch in the trot at some of the great food outlets here. Short bus trip to the Festival Hall then walked from Waterloo to Trafalgar - Square that is. Then saw the brilliant but bloody production of Richard III with Martin Freeman in the lead role. I loved this guy when he first appeared in The Office and recently admired him in the TV series Fargo but today's performance was superb.
Short bus ride and train home completed what can only be described as a Grand Day Out. Today's blip was taken from Hungerford Bridge looking east over the River Thames
