Tunnel vision

Another really hot day and it is lovely waking up to silence on the boat. We travelled through lots of locks, bridges and tunnels today and then had to wait at the bottom of Watford Locks. Watford Locks is a staircase of seven locks but one of the gates on the top lock had been hit by another boat and come off its hinge. We had to wait a few hours while it was fixed but it was a lovely spot to sit and read a book and relax. When it was fixed we completed the locks and after a few hours of travelling we moored near a pub for the night.
