Anyone for Tea?
Another day at the art gallery. This exhibit is of the gentlemen's tea room, the Chinese room designed by Rennie Mackintosh for Miss Cranston's Ingram Street Tea Rooms in 1911. This is not a great photo as I'm having a few technical problems but it is one of his most radical tea room designs based on the square with all other shapes taken from Chinese Art. The little tables have places for cards, pipes cigars etc. Of course it's men only!
